Hi, I’m Danielle, the heart behind Folklore & Romance and a devoted lover of romance books, folklore, and mythology. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been enchanted by the power of stories—especially those that celebrate love, magic, and the beauty of everyday moments. I believe in romanticizing life, whether that’s through the grandiose gestures of a love story or the small, poetic details that make each day magical.

My fascination with mythology, especially the tales of goddesses like Aphrodite, has been a constant source of inspiration. Her embodiment of love, beauty, and passion resonates deeply with me, and I’ve woven these themes into the journeys I create. Through Folklore & Romance, I aim to capture the magic of romance and myth, offering trips that transport travelers into the worlds of timeless stories and ancient legends.

My love for travel began with a trip to Australia when I was nine years old. Since then, I have traveled to places like Crete in Greece where I immersed myself within the myths and beliefs of the ancient Greek civilization. I lived in England for three years where I explored a myriad of castles, ruins, and the homes of many of my favorite writers. I created Folklore & Romance for those who, like me, love to blend fantasy with reality and long to experience the world through the lens of love and wonder.
